End OF Year Reflection To Stay Motivated And Confident

The End Of Year Reflection Exercise To Stay Motivated And Confident

I recorded this video for you. I believe that you’ll find the exercises very helpful to clear and release the old worn out patterns. And create a life vision of hope and optimism for the New Year.

The end of the year marks a threshold and invites a pause for reflection. It’s a great time to take stock of the year behind and look ahead at the year to come.

As we approach 2019, I invite you to invest some present moment time to reflect and project.

If you’re a Silva Method Practitioner, I recommend you also do this at level and use Mirror of the Mind.

If you are not a Silva practitioner, I recommend you do this exercise in a quiet place. A meditative state is ideal with some creative visualization.

Reflect back on 2018

· What were the lessons learned? Seek their value; free of judgment. BE SELF-COMPASSIONATE. Give yourself permission not to be perfect.

· What talents and strengths did you develop and put to good use?
· What gifts did you give and what gifts did you receive?

Project to a vision of 2019

· How will you utilize the lessons learned in 2018?
· How will your growth experiences season your choices in this new year?
· What gifts would you like to give and what gifts would you like to receive?

Go beyond Goal Setting!

What does your IDEAL – BEST SELF look like for 2019? And how does it make you feel?

My guided meditation and mini-course FUTURE SELF is a powerful and fun exercise to help you create a vision of the future with hope and optimism. You’ll also access intuitive insights to know how to allow your best self to emerge. You can get yours here.

Another mini-course and guided meditation is Power Programming. It’s the ideal complement to enhance Mirror of the Mind. You can get yours here.

Persist And Adapt To Create A Fulfilling Life

As you prepare to do your End Of Year Reflection, keep in mind that BOTH Persistence and Adaptability are necessary to create a fulfilling life.

In this short video you’ll discover that Persistence is the equivalent to Intention. And a commitment to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Adaptability is equal to Allowing. To apply just enough energy or pressure and to release it with an attitude -“May The Best For All Involved Occur.”

How To Heal Your Body – Heal Your Life and Manifest More

Expressions of gratitude and appreciation promote health and healing for both ourselves and others.

Regularly expressing appreciation and gratitude helps to increase your energy levels, reduce stress, boost your immune system, balance your hormones, and promote heart health.

2018 has been filled with extraordinary growth and some extraordinary challenges. If this year has been tough on you and those you love, I understand.

You’re juggling a lot. You’ve got blessings — no doubt. But you’re also doing your best to navigate some challenges, too.

You’re so much stronger than you realize.

Be good to yourself. Rest when you can. Remember to laugh and have fun.

I encourage you to open your heart to those less fortunate, your loved ones, and anyone (or anything) that has enhanced your life and to offer a token of thanks.

Have you told someone dear to you that you’re happy they’re in your Life?

This could be in the form of a note, a present, or some other meaningful expression of appreciation. Then watch how your acts of kindness create joy and blessings in the world.

Our family enjoys the practice of going around the table and each expresses something that they are thankful for.

It’s so cool how at first some hesitate but once we get going, the room lights up. I highly recommend this exercise. Then watch in awe as you begin to manifest.

Let’s consider some further thought on this subject.

A key personality trait that plays a crucial role in any achievement endeavor is GRIT, a term first coined by psychologist Angela Duckworth in 2007.

People who have grit have a strong passion to pursue a long-term goal AND the ability to persevere and persist in overcoming obstacles to achieve those goals, even if it takes months or years to accomplish.

The research suggests that having the quality of grit can predict future academic performance in students and indeed, it plays a key role in every achievement-related outcome.

You can add more GRIT to your personality by having a GROWTH MINDSET according to brain science.

You can also add more GRIT and by staying healthy and balanced by the daily enjoyment of your Silva Dynamic Meditation practice.

Health Benefits of Meditation: Since the 1960’s scientific journals have published thousands of papers on the effects of meditation on health and wellbeing.

These effects include:

  • reduction of anxiety,
  • a reduction in allergic skin reactions,
  • less incidence of angina and cardiac arrhythmias,
  • relief from bronchial asthmas and coughs,
  • reduced problems with constipation,
  • fewer problems with duodenal ulcers,
  • less dizziness and fatigue,
  • lower blood pressure in people suffering from hypertension,
  • alleviation of pain,
  • reduction of insomnia,
  • improve fertility,
  • and help in mild to moderate depression.

And with Ken’s and the Silva Method’s Dynamic Meditation you get all these health benefits PLUS the ability to grow and manifest your goals and intention.

ADD these to your library to feed your GROWTH MINDSET.

DOUBLING your wealth, FITTING into your high school jean size, STOPPING a bad or unhealthy habit, or ACHIEVING just about ANYTHING you’ve been putting off…
Becomes more possible through CREATIVE VISUALIZATION!
Creative Visualization: The ability to change your physical and emotional future life simply by using your mind. You know this.
You know it works – because you’ve done it yourself.
Maybe it was on the golf course when you visualized the ball plinking into the hole. Or perhaps you visualized yourself giving an important presentation minutes before all eyes were on you.
Yet, your experience with visualization represents only a mere fraction of its incredible capabilities.
I’m writing to you today to show you a side of visualizing that continues to astonish everyone who discovers its real power. Potent enough to eradicate cancer cells. Effective enough to enhance your life.
The Power of Visualization goes far beyond a better golf score or tennis game.
Did you know?
  • For 40 years, people have used visualization to help cure cancer? You may remember Dr. O. Carl Simonton, the oncologist who integrated the Silva Method into his practice and mentored many other physicians. (In fact, it’s so effective, many cancer centers now have dedicated visualization facilities.)
  • Visualization is effective in lowering blood pressure, reducing cholesterol, decreasing stress levels, and even saving people’s lives?
  • Visualization played a significant role in almost every major discovery and invention since the beginning of time? (It’s the world’s oldest achievement tool by centuries!)
Whether it’s finding your ideal career, getting that promotion you’ve been wanting, losing those extra pounds, dropping a bad habit, repairing a strained relationship, or simply improving your golf game – you’ve tried to make the necessary changes to improve your life.
Visualization: Still the most EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT, and MOST WIDELY USED achievement tool. Yet, it’s not always so easy and often you may find yourself struggling with focus and direction. It’s why it’s a mainstay of the Silva Method Immersion where we devote many hours practicing over the 4 days.
Visualization is a skill that you learn to develop, focus and apply to manifest what you really want.
Visualizing is that secret achievement tool that’s been proven to make such an impact. In fact, just 10 minutes a day for 10 days can produce noticeable life-changing results!
Just 10 minutes a day for 10 days …
  • begins to dramatically improve your health
  • begins to substantially increase your wealth, and
  • begins to erase years of bad or unhealthy habits.
10 minutes total – less time than your morning shower – refreshes your entire outlook on life.
The greatest INVENTORS, ATHLETES, and LEADERS already know The Power of Visualization.
“I am deeply grateful that I choose to take the next step, from “listening” to Silva CDs and webinars to joining you in a live seminar. I did not realize how life-giving the experience would be! Your style of delivery of the Silva material is masterful and easily assimilated.
Your expertise in teaching the material meant the content was clearly understood and countless ways in which to utilize it in my personal life experience received! I appreciated that before attending you contacted not only me but each one of us to ensure that you knew what each person’s goals for attending were and then you adapted your content to meet our needs! So wonderful! Thank you!
Ken, another benefit from joining you live was the unbreakable bonds and friendships I created with those I met in your class. It was an amazing experience to be with like-minded individuals who were all on the fast track to creating the life of their dreams~ fueled by Silva techniques that you inspired us with. With deep appreciation for you Ken and to all those I had the honor of taking these courses with!”
Thank you so much! All the best! Always! ~ Susan F. Canada
And now – it’s YOUR turn to change anything, improve anything, become anything – using your mind!

Freedom From Anger

Yes indeed, there may be things to be angry about. At times the world seems chaotic and full of uncertainty and misinformation. Anger is experienced when our importance, worth, or intrinsic value as a human being is invalidated. It is perhaps the single most projected emotion.

Attempting to resist and/or suppress the anger only makes it worse. It is necessary to process the anger in order not to be victimized by it. The risk though is that when we ruminate in anger, it becomes toxic and poses a threat to our health, well-being, and performance.

The Silva Method teaches tools to help us process anger and direct it in a meaningful way. You can use techniques such as Mirror of the Mind, the 3 Fingers technique and the Laboratory tool. The first step, however, is to understand the anger.

We will in this video explore and discover the 5 Types of Anger and what you can do to prevent a toxic buildup.

The 5 Different Types of Anger

  • Resentment
  • Rage
  • Helpless Anger
  • Hatred
  • Justified/Good Anger

From Self-Doubt To Self-Confidence

There is a serious malady of the human condition that affects our mood, productivity, energy levels, performance and ultimately it’s what holds us back from moving forward in our lives. Like a disease, it spreads and is even contagious.

You guessed – it’s called SELF-DOUBT. At our core, it stems from low Self-Esteem.

I’ve experienced this in my own life and been a witness to it in my students and coach clients.
How about you? Have you ever doubted yourself and/or second-guessed yourself?

Have you ever as a Silva practitioner or other asked: “Am I deep enough?” “Am I in Alpha?”  when you do your Alpha Dynamic Meditation?

If you have, you know where I’m going with this.
When you doubt yourself, your consciousness moves from the deeper levels of Alpha-Theta awareness to a more anxious, active Beta level. In other words, the self-doubt interferes and prevents you from having a quality experience.

I’m sure you can agree that self-confidence is vitally important when you consider the extremely high levels of uncertainty so many people are feeling these days. Many of you are facing the need to re-invent your health, relationships, and career – finances. There seems to be so much to learn.

Fortunately, you have and use the Silva tools to continue to believe that you can figure things out. I’d like to assist you to do the same. And sometimes you just need to show up, do it and take a leap of faith.

Confidence in oneself comes from experience, wisdom and especially from having evidence that you have indeed made progress and/or enjoyed some wins. It becomes a resource state that enables you to move through life with a higher degree of certainty and FLOW.

You create a resource state of hope, confidence, and certainty by reliving with intense positive emotion a past moment of excellence and lock it in with a trigger such as your three fingers held together. You may remember this tool that you learn in the Silva Life System (days 1-2 of the Immersion).

I do believe in you and your inherent abilities. All you need is practice. Remember 5 minutes a day is good. 10 minutes is better and 15 minutes a day is even BETTER. Make it part of your daily practice and eventually you’ll create a new habit – neural pathway and find yourself just doing it.

Is it time to renew yourself in the Silva Immersion and/or get started?!

There’s nothing more debilitating than not being able to make a decision due to excessive worry. Worry is a common trap that plagues way too many people. It adds distress to the body, weakens confidence and sucks the life right out of you.

Worry is the enemy to productivity.

There are many effective strategies to conquer worry, build confidence and improve productivity.

1. Silva Method graduates will remember how to manage worry and negative self talk with the pattern interrupter – CANCEL CANCEL. It’s a tool Silva teaches in the Mental Housecleaning section.

2. Proper planning through research, study and practice is another must do.

3. Shifting your focus of attention to feel gratitude will change your state.

4. You can transform the feeling of anxiety from worry by shifting your attention to thinking positive, loving thoughts to people you care about — Especially while you are meditating and/or having difficulty getting back to sleep.

Ken Coscia, the International Training Director for all Silva Instructors, has facilitated transformation and worked with over 200,000 people in 27 nations in LIVE training. Ken is committed to The Silva Method and the mission of enriching the planet by empowering the individual. He has been teaching the work of Jose, Juan and Laura Silva, for over 47 years (since 1971).

Numerous studies in places like the Harvard Business Review find that the way people feel at work profoundly influences how they perform. Keeping this in mind, it is safe to say that the way we manage so-called failure will also profoundly influence our level of achievement.

We want to redefine failure and shift our point of view to a more supportive perspective. We have all come to recognize failure to be the disguise of a great teacher and a necessary step to achieve greatness, make a difference, and enhance performance.

I can remember my early days as a Silva instructor. I was full of passion to make a difference and change the world (I still am) and yet I lacked the business skills necessary to support my Vision. I cannot even remember how many mistakes – so-called failures I made. I nearly bankrupted myself. I found myself loading trucks for UPS from 4 AM to 9 AM and then working as a waiter in a restaurant from 11 AM to 10 PM just to pay the bills and subsidize my passion for Silva. It was not fun at all.

I eventually came to realize that I was getting closer and closer to become a full time, top producing, prospering Silva Instructor. I feel very blessed and appreciative for this accomplishment.

The lesson here is that we are in a constant state of flux, strategizing, implementing and adjusting along the way. It is much easier to make corrections once we have some momentum. It is inevitable to make mistakes along the way. Nobody is 100%. It is not a problem to fail. It is, however tragic to not learn the lessons from the mistakes or so-called failures.

And as Lao Tzu once said,

“Failure is the foundation of success, and the means by which it is achieved.”

There are many factors that cause the fear of failure and make it difficult to overcome failure. I would suggest that when we have unrealistic expectations and strive for Perfection, we are doomed to experience shame-based, toxic emotions of shame, and guilt resulting in us feeling less than deserving of success. This leads to low Self-Esteem and greatly weakens the Attractor Factor to create the life of our design. The net result is procrastination and thinking small.

It is important to remember that no one is perfect and there is no such thing as perfect. We are just not wired for perfection. Science teaches us that even the universe is continually changing, correcting and growing. Psychiatrists and Psychologists offices are overcrowded with people suffering from guilt and shame due to the unrealistic expectation of Perfection. Business and production stalls as a result of the inevitable reaction of small-mindedness and procrastination due to the fear of failure when people get stuck in this trap of Perfection.

How to transform failure into an opportunity to grow and transform the fear into hope.

FIRST, you’ll want to shift your perspective and acknowledge right here and now that S……(Stuff) happens. Even the most fortunate of men and women experience occasional setbacks, so-called failures. Some of these life events are NOT within our control and surprisingly many are. The one thing that you and I have absolute control of is our viewpoint and interpretation of life’s events. Psychologists call this the “Point of Power”.  So reframe your attitude about failure.

How?  The SECOND step –  embrace the fact that you are not perfect and are bound to make some errors along life’s journey. It is not personal and when the s…. hits the fan, it is feedback that you need to evaluate, assess the situation and make a change in your approach.

THIRD: Celebrate and appreciate the failure! That’s right you heard me correctly. Keep affirming that with each and every mistake, you are one step closer to realizing your goal. Express gratitude for the feedback and learn from it.

FOURTH: Remember that no one does it alone. Seek help, advise, support, training and maybe even take someone you admire who is achieving big time, to lunch. We become just like the people we spend most of our time with. So be more selective of who and where you spend your time. It is called modeling and is a very powerful tool that even neuro-science will verify.

And most importantly, Believe in yourself. I know, everybody tells us to believe.

Well, it is true and the surest way to build your belief in yourself is, to begin with small, tangible goals and then celebrate and appreciate the small success.

These small baby steps will lead to even grander accomplishments. This action will strengthen your Courage Muscle. You do this by planning, strategizing, research, hire a coach, and attend a live seminar with like-minded people.

I also want you to look in the mirror and affirm… ”I love and accept myself, just the way I am and I choose to get better.” Another powerful affirmation is… “I deserve to succeed.” AND “I AM ENOUGH”!

I also want you to integrate this into your daily dynamic meditation practice like you learned in Silva Seminars. Add the visual component to these affirmations by creatively visualizing yourself making constant progress and future pace it. That is imagine your life vision continually expanding, as the weeks, months and years pass. And FEEL IT.

In closing, remember the words…”Winners never quit and quitters never win.”

Make a commitment to yourself right here and now that you deserve to succeed. Failure is not an option. Perhaps, you remember Jerry C. Bostick, the NASA flight controller who prevented a disaster when he reportedly stated during the Apollo 13 damaged mission that Failure is not an option. Let’s bring them back to earth!

  • At night before going to sleep review the day.
  • Appreciate and feel gratitude for any progress made.
  • Acknowledge any mistake, error, screw up and GIVE YOURSELF
      PERMISSION not to be perfect.
  • Rewind back to the mistake as if you were there now and tell yourself, I’m better than that.                         This is not how I want to be. Then be like a movie director and imagine and/or visualize the way you prefer to be.

How To Avoid Crash and Burn And Sustain Growth

Have you ever struggled with keeping up with your Silva practice, personal development and/or meditation practice?

Have you ever found yourself slipping back into those old unrewarding patterns of behavior?

I’m sure the answer is YES if you’re like the rest of us. Our lives are packed with demands on our time. The result is that the quality of our self-care plummets. It’s frustrating! I know because I’ve been there too.

Feeding our souls is sooo necessary in order to create new positive patterns that LAST. It’s just like a garden. You plant beautiful flowers, a rich green lawn. If you don’t provide the necessary sunlight, nutrients, and water, the result is  – the weeds take over.

I want you to create and use a personal library to support your consistent growth and development. Regardless of what it is. Use it, if it provides you the support you need. You will be working to change your brain and body to be greater than your environment. This allows you to truly Take Command Of Your Life.
Whether you’re creating a meaningful relationship, working on your health and fitness, cultivating a spiritual practice or building a business, support is necessary to SUSTAIN your growth.

Have you ever struggled with the feeling of overwhelm when you seem stuck in a problem?

And have you noticed how OVERWHELM STEALS your energy?
